The Saunders & Near office is located in a former convent in Tarrytown, just a few minutes from Downtown Austin. For more than thirty years, our firm has provided thoughtful estate planning and administration, trust administration, premarital, and charitable giving services to clients from all backgrounds and stages of life.
Practice Areas
Estate Planning
We assist our clients in designing and implementing their personal estate plans. This includes wills, trusts, disability planning (e.g., financial powers of attorney and medical documents), marital property agreements, entity formation, and related work.
Estate and Trust Administration
We advise executors and trustees on fiduciary duties, helping to guide them through the tasks connected with estate and trust administration. We also represent beneficiaries to assist them in understanding and protecting their interests in estates and trusts.
Charitable Giving
We facilitate our clients’ charitable desires through the creation, funding, and administration of Donor Advised Funds, charitable trusts and family foundations, and documenting pledges and outright gifts. Our practice also includes the representation of public charities on planned-giving issues.
